See, you were an idiot then and you are still one now.

"I'm 33 years old been in the army for 12 years and i've seen real combat."

Ok, so the military is your mama and you watched combat on tv. Your childishness indicates that you are neither 33 years old nor a member of the military. If you were a member of the military it would make wonder about today's army and quality of the people serving in it.

Like you said, it's easy to make up pictures, not that you could do it, but it is even easier to make up the BS you are shoveling here.

Hey N56629,

Your a real Gem.....Come on out to Fort Bragg one day. When you get here or tell me when you are gonna be here, i'll meet you at the front gate. Then we can go somewhere quite and have a really long discussion.........Just don't tell anyone where you are going so they dont report you missing. Fort Bragg is a very large area, and there are plenty of places for a person to get lost......I served in Iraq for a 13 months at LSA Anaconda, Taji, Baghdad...........Do you really want to try me????

Wow, this has become quite a heated discussion. Lets keep the personal stuff out of it and address the first statement. The V6 is not fast by any means and you will have to put a lot into it to make it go. I have personally spent around $1000.00 already and it is picking up but not by anything astounding. Gear changes, stroking, supercharging, nitrous, its all about what you want to do. I believe that maybe the poster gave up and took the shorter route to performance, but that was his choice. I just want to be able to pull my holiday trailer with a little more ease and since I already have the truck bought and paid for, I didn't see spending $40,000 on a new one as an option. I can modify it quite a bit and still be under budget as far as that goes. The V6 will never be as fast as my old 340 Dart but then thats not a fair comparison either. So if you want to mod your truck, go for it, if not then don't and don't post on this board with negetivity towards it. We are here for helpful suggestions and the like.

Wow, that's impressive but so is your childish behavior. I did 18 months in vietnam and cambodia. now what does that have to do with your erroneous bs? Nothing!!! You are very unimpressive.

At least you learned that there are many trucks faster than you mustang and we learned that you are incapable of building a truck that is faster than something you can buy.

The fact that he made a fool of himself was very entertaining. However, I'm more concerned that there is a 33 year old army lifer out there with the maturity of a 14 year old.

You know N56629, I can tell you from personal experience that there are a few of the above mentioned in the service today. As you can probably tell from my pic, I am in the Navy (please leave the village people out of this), and as a senior NCO, I have to deal with people like this every day...but you know what, it makes the day interesting:) Don't let the immature bravado of one service person lessen your view of the whole.

If it doesn't fit, you're using the wrong hammer!

I've run into some too but never after 12 years of service. If he was some young kid on his first tour of duty then I could understand it. The guy definately isn't infantry. Probably holds a low leveldesk job in finace or quartermaster, hence the ready access to a computer all day long.

I wouldn't be bad mouthing medics if were you. Your life might depend on them. It takes a certain kind of lunacy to run around a battlefield unarmed.

That is just the infantry mentality. Most of them think they are better than everyone when in actuallity without everyone else they would be able to do nothing but sit around cleaning weapons all day. It really doesn't take much brains to be able to fire a weapon or walk for miles with a 90 pound ruck sack. Yeah... your the best, just keep thinking that.

The same principles apply to a V6 that would apply to a V8. Before I go any further, are we talking Dakotas or what? There is some serious cranial rectal inversion going on on this website. I have a V6 that is very mild and will still run flat 14s in the quarter. Mild cam, 1.7 rockers, mildly ported heads with stock valve sizes, modified factory intake manifold and throttle body, JBA exhaust manifold replacements (they cannot be called real headers), 3" exhaust the whole way, underdrive pulleys, MSD, and six pounds of boost going to a 3.90 gearset with limited slip. This truck still knocks down 20 miles per gallon if I drive it nice. And it's quicker than most of what's being driven on the streets.

1995 4x4 all the bolt ons some port work all the
sensor mods but its fun to drive may do 15's and
gets excellent mileage 22 to 25mpg around $2000

the first stroker I built $6000 it will do 14.4

my second stroker motor 94 sport 13.2 $8000 in
this motor

Will any of these trucks be 10 second streetmachines no but who cares

Am I sorry I spent all the money on them No

I don't drink or use drugs my trucks and my motors
are my highs just the fun of building and driving
them pleases me more than anything else

For the average guy just looking to gain a little
performance and have a little more fun its worth
every penny and will put a lot more smiles on
his face than drugs or alcohal will any day and
its a smile you can be proud of

Just my thoughts because in my years I have seen
so many just waist there lives and money for a
cheap high and all they do is complain about
how bad things are and balme everyone else for
there probs never being enough of a person to
see they did it all by themselfs

Mod your truck and be proud I am one of the few
and the proud and an x marine myself
