 Subject: 2002 dodge dakota sport

My check engine light came on and I took the truck and had it put on the machine. It gave a code P0748 pressure control solenoid A and P1756 for governer pressure not equal to target. Is this 2 different problems or does the 1st problem create the 2nd one ?

its a solenoid and transducer in your transmission. you have to drop the pan to replace them. pretty easy job but messy. research this site for earlier messages on transmissions more info and more know how. Good luck.

I find it easier to use a swivel rachet. There is also a spark plug socket that has a little rubber piece inside it which holds the spark plug inside the socket when you pull it out.
