the above link from ross is clear corners for the ram d50 i believe.
any look at these two pics, more specific look at the tail lights of both these trucks. one is a gen 2 dak and the other is a '89 ram.. the tail lights look the same to me although i havn't measured so does anyone else know if thier in deed the same. the ram pic kinda sucks but its all i could find.

I was looking at other euro tailights. It looks like a toyota 89-95 model would possibly fit. Jeep made a truck that has tailights similar to ours. If a company would ever make taillights for our trucks they could be used on more than just gen 2 dakotas. Theres gen 1 & 2 dak, some of the rams and possibly the jeep truck. So i dont understand why they never made them yet!

The earlier ram taillights are exactly the same parts(identical #'s), but they still don't make clear tails for the old school rams either. I tried that route years ago.

ya i wasn't sure if they made elears for the old school ram but i was thinking if they were to make clear tails that could fit two trucks they may be more likely to make them.

I believe the dakotas with a certain trim package came with the chrome ones from the factory, i know i bought a pair of chrome stock tails for 50$ off ebay brand new... i like the look a lot better than stock black ones, but i would have to see a set of clear tails before i would gaurantee purchase of them for my dak

I talked to apc and they said there is not a big request for euros for those years, so everyone should just start flooding tail light companies including apc and procarparts with e-mails. If every body keeps e-mailing them, then ttey're gonna run out of excuses eventually. Here is the guy at apcs info.

Hey gritz -
is there any way you could try those ranger tails again and get a detailed picture of how close they are? Im looking into making an adapter plate of a sort if its possible...
also, can anyone think of any tails of newer trucks that maybe the existing tail light holes on our trucks could be extended and tabs cut for maybe tails off a newer dakota, or maybe the 90s rams? i dont know what would look good, im going to keep looking, come up with some ideas.......

yeah, I could put them up in there again and take a picture. I've been looking and fabing something up, too...cuz they're pretty close, and with alittle fab work they would maybe work. But I'll get those pictures, and see what you think..
