hey if anyone is intersted i have a set of all clear taillights for a 97-01 dodge dakota. i had them on my truck for a month then sold the truck, i was about to put them on ebay.

To those unclear about gen 2 clear tails.
we are trying to get them made, for 91-96 dakotas know as gen 2, NOT apc gen2 taillights for 97+ daks.
So hopefully by emailing procarpars.com we can influence them to make some for our trucks.

pro car parts wrote me back and said they still need more requests, so trying to get more and more people to email them even if they don't have a gen 2 dak.

Did they say how many people they have? I have emailed them, but i will do it again just to be sure. I really want these things....Haha, hopefully i'll have the money to get 'em when they finally get around to makin them. Everyone who reads this should email their customer service, whether you have a gen II or not. Great gift ideas if any of yall wanna get me a set..hehe

I Emailed another company In Car Pro Wear another company that makes taillights. They replied me and stated they would pass it along to research and developement. So maybe if we email them also we could get one of the two companies to start making a set of taillights.

UMM GUYS... They DO make clear tails for the Gen 2... take a look in mini truckin mag at the tails they make for the gen 1 rangers and broncos... they list them as for the ranger/dakota.... just look they fit!

I own a gen1 ranger and a gen 2 dak. I'll try fitting the ranger tails on my dak and see if they fit. I'll let ya know how it goes.meantime how about the jeep cherokee tails, does anyone know if they will fit?

all diffrent kinds avail, they arent the only ones that stock them. Look around for ppl who makes euro tails for those years of ford rangers and broncos....

Itryed putting the ranger tails on my da, and they didn't fit. they were close, but not close enough. Sorry for the bad news, but keep e-mailing procarparts.com and that other company. I'm gonna try finding cherekee taillights to see if they will fit.I don't know, maybe we'll get lucky somewhere.
