TB spacers are b*llsh*t. they lengthen to intake runner to produce slight more torque if any. that is a step in the wrong direction on a 5.2 or a 4.7
look at the HO manifold, do you know what the difference is???????

I had one on my 5.9 and it seemed to add some lowend torque but I personally think it acts kinda like one of those Tornado things and makes some air turbulance and causes a little better mix but my Fastman TB added way more power.

I personally bought my throttle body spacer off of ebay from some guy who makes them himself or rather his company does... Got it for 40 some dollars, shipping and all... Personally I wasn't going to pay 60 to 90 dollars for something that small and simple to make... I kept records with each mod and noticed that with this "keep in mind that it must be installed a certain way, maybe this is why so many have no luck" you really notice very little low end torque increase, but as soon as you hit 3000rpms you really start to notice when it sets you back in you seat a little more than normal :)) Main dissadvantage "high pitch whinning noise at certain rpms"

Oh and Andy if you read your dirrections you will notice that they stated that you may need to readjust your throttle linkage on some makes... I personally didn't with my 99' 3.9l...

Next thing I did was order cheap hand made cold air intake with alluminum chrome tubing and cone air filter "40 some dollars off of ebay" and to go with that I ordered the tornado "from Nukethehut off of ebay" for the truck as well "30 some dollars"...

Oh mpg went up by 2 to 3 with helix bore throttle body spacer and none with cold air intake---

Now with the Tornado I really noticed a difference, all through the power band and torque went up a lot as well with the fuel milleage...

With this complete package I went from 22mpg "at worst" and 25mpg "at best" to 25mpg "at worst" to 27 to 28mpg "at best" on the highway and that's with a lot of mountainous type of highway driving... All of this also helped a lot with take off and acceleration as well... So say what you want, for around $120 where as I would had to pay around $350 or more for bassically the same I was very very satisfied!!! You can also get the Holley dual 52mm throttle body from a guy on ebay who builds them himself which I'm planning on putting on my 3.9l as well... This Holley is suppost to fit 318's and 360's, but I'll make it work for my 3.9 somehow ;)) Oh I got it for $152 and also bought one of those cheap fuel chip thingy's, so we'll see how the throttle body and the chip helps...

And I'll have to have my thottle body spacer remachined "may do that myself while porting and polishing the heads" don't know yet for the bigger bore throttle body...

Greg - Give me a link to the guy you got your TB spacer from...because I want that...and also, that high pitch whine is sweet... it's the sound of more air flowing into your engine... which equals more hp.

I was looking though my ebay records and came up with that I had bought my throttle body spacer through tntperformanceproducts, but they didn't list a "BUY IT NOW" like they did when I bought mine, so I looked down and found the same thing through L&B Racing --- Dodge Ram throttle body spacer "Free Shipping" with "BUY IT NOW" for $38.00 which is what I paid for mine without shipping included and this one appears to come with a few washers and things that mine didn't, so for $38.00 you can get what I got for around $45.00... Not bad at all huh...

I also would recommend getting the Tornado Fuel Saver through NukeTheHut while you were at it if you really want to feel the differance that these two combined offer ;)) You'll just have to measure and see what size you need, but if you have a 3.9l, it should take a KI-75, but measure to make sure...

The Cold Air Intake I bought is now advertised for around $80 or so dollars, and I wouldn't recommend spending that much since you can buy the parts to build your own for around $50 or so and note that Cold Air Intakes will require different Tornado's as well...

I think the "Google Search" "throttle body spacer" has about 5hrs left on it if your interrested... Hope this helps some...

Greg
