I was just thinking about how strange it was that everybody now seems to use metric when talking engines instead of cubic inches like most of us grew up with. Imagine how weird it would be to see a '69 Road Runner with 7.2-6 Barrel on the hood scoop.

287 CI Hemi?? Someone told me that the 4.7L uses hemispherical heads? Anyone know the facts? Berndt, Sandman, Bob? PLEASE let me know, because if so, I want to get 287 Hemi tags made up for my new hood when it gets here.

FastRT6. Yes they do have hemisphiracle heads and the valve angles are the same. Just no spark plug in the middle of cylinder probably due to the OHC cams so it's not a true Hemi but simmilar.
