Yeah you have the V6 thread beat. Yes you would whip our ass if we were dumb enough to race you. Holy sh*t, we bow to you oh great V8's. Whoopidydoo!!!!! I was just curious how many other people bought, for one reason or another, a V6. Obviously not many. Couldn't decide if I wanted to keep mine or do a swap for a Blown 408 stroker. ( arr arr arr:) ) Leaning towards the V8 but money and the fact that you have to wait and do it all at once. Just don't know???

On second thought, I'll stick with my V6. I am NEVER going to race the freakin' thing. As long as it makes me happy, I guess thats all that matters. If I ever want to race, I'll just buy a Gen 2 Dak with like a million miles on it, tub it out and build a drag race truck. The V6 seems to be enough for my needs and with a little help I think I'll be completely satisfied. Like you guys care anyways!

I for one have the utmost respect for my V6 Dakota brethren.
Hell, I work with 2 cylindrically challanged SLT owners. I drink with them and even let them park next to me at the local cantina.

'99 5.2 SLT CC w/auto & 3.92 ls. Added 180 t-stat, underdrive pulleys, GEN II, Fastman TB, Headers and Y pipe, 2 chamber Flowmaster dumped, Trans Go shift kit, etc. Runs 15.3s
Can't knock 6 cylinders. The most fun I can have with my clothes on is on my 1 cylinder (KTM 300 MXC) dirt bike.
