This is a funny thread. We have two Dodge vehicles in the family, and we have a toyota Tacoma and a Camery. Our Dodge 1500 pickup had problems two weeks after we bought it. The breaks were making horrible sounds. We got it fixed under warranty, a month later the breaks starting acting up again and so did the Tranny. Got that fixed, now something is really wrong with the steering and now we have to replace the tranny at only 30k Miles. We have a Dodge van, it's an '01, I feel like i'm riding in rotting vehcile at only 20k miles. We have a '94 Camery, 172k Miles (yes alot of miles), we treat it like shiat and the thing has never had any major problems. Well, our cd player went out about a month ago? My sons Tacoma is his Offroad toy, it's very low in miles right now but I can tell you that it's going to last him until he's got kids of his own. It's all engineering my friends. When we get rid of the Ram, i'm getting myself a Tundra. It didn't win MotorTrends Truck of the year two times in a row for nothing, and it's the safest truck there is. And it's going to last me forever, and yep.. That damn fast and efficient V8 is pretty nifty. Anyhow, for the comment about Tacomas being ugly.. That is disgustingly wrong. Did anyone notice the banner on the home page saying "TOYOTA FORUM" did ya? huh, did ya? NO! because there's not one. Last time I checked it said DODGE DAKOTAS!!!!!!!!!!! Who really gives a crap what your TOY does. If we cared, this would be a TOY-OTA FORUM. Hey, did you see that Toyota Truck called WHO THE F CARES? Yeah, it's soo cool. I'm gonna NOT sell my dodge for it. Might thow it in the back of my DAK just for kicks.

I'm not going to be an ignorant idiot about what is better than what but I've had great luck with my Dak and I have a couple of friends that have Toy's and I would say the Dak is a more powerfull truck but the Toy can off road better. That's my two cents.
Wouldn't want any other!

i have a buddy with a toy too it has 37 boggers on it but the dakota has to much more power thenthe toy.but they are preaty mean in the mud
