Dear Sir,
I met a man today in Lake Charles LA who told me you made the front and rear bumpers for his Jeep. Hopefully I have reached the right company. If so please send me the info on these bumpers. Thanks in advance.

www.hansonenterprises.com is the one who makes Bumpers and Jeep stuff. He is a real busy guy and hard to get ahold of.

The skid plates were not made by him.

Well I've finished making the front skid plate and I'm ready to mount it. The problem is that I can't tell where to mount it to. I have all the hardware, but after looking at forexfours skid plates it looks as though the front one is bent and not straight. Any tips would help greatly.

Thanks

Yes the front of the Skid plate has to bend up to attach to the front cross member.

You have to use the M-10 I think it is body fasteners nuts. The slide into the frame crossmembers to use a M-10 x 1.25" bolt.

2 in front, 2 in the middle where they over lap (some 1.5" maybe better here) and 2 on the back of the T case plate. There are slots for the body fasteners to slide into.

Section A-A is a side view of the front section of the front plate. It clearly has the Bend angle and measurements. You must have missed this.

The link a couple posts up shows this.

Ahh I thought that was for the transfercase since its 44" long. Is the 6" in front of the bend long enough to stretch from the lower cross member to the upper cross member. I was thinking the smaller skid plate was for the front. I take it that with the u-nuts drilling will be required.
Also, I saw some early pictures of the skid plate design on this site somewhere?? They seemed more decorative than stong, but they were really good pictures of them mounted on the truck. If someone could tell where I saw these that would be great. I've tried to find them again, but to no avail. Or if anyone has some good pictures of their mounted skid paltes that would help me with the install that would be very helpfull.

No drilling is needed the holes where the fastner body nuts go are already there and the will slide into place.

Here is the best photo I could find

I am making a trip to Big Bear this weekend with the group I wheel with. Good size group and it will be a great run. Last run South for me for quit a few months. We plan to hit Moab in April , then Cerro Gordo, Duesy ershim, sierras, Pismo, Lockwood Miller trial and what ever else pops up. If you ever looking to go out on a run let me know.

I live in San Bernardino, about 45 minutes from Big Bear. That would be awesome, I will let you know. I'd like to go to some different spots. I got stuck bad the other day in like a 3 1/2 foot(deep) rut. the only thing that kind of saved me was my passenger side nerf bar. Kept me from falling all the way in. Just a few scratches on the bar and on my lower panal.
