hey, we have had a lot of people asking us about custom subwoofer enclosures for their dodge trucks. we have done many dodge dakotas, so we now have a good mold to take the enclosures from. most people want them under the rear bench, just pop out the plastic tool tray and they install in place of that. the enclosures that have been most popular are for (2) 12's, but we will make them for (1), or (2) 10's, or (1) or (2) 12's, possibly (1) 15. they sound great, and take up little space. the price will be $300 shipped and carpeted in your choice of the colors we have on stock. (light grey, dark grey, black, charcoal. they will be shipped out within 5 days of the payment. we take personal checks, money orders, and paypal. please email me with any questions, sales@fiberglassaudio.com
thanks,

Hey Ian, do you have anything you can make for a Quad Cab that holds a 10 similar to the Thunderform?

1)hey, i can make a box for the quadcab. did you just want it to fit under the passenger bench? and what year is the quadcab. i have about 100 dodge trucks of my lot, so i am sure i can take a mold from it.

2) ID max subs are the bomb. just put one in a new f-150 and it shook hard. the mounting depth is around 7" so not enough for the max, but we usually just make seat raisers for trucks who need more space. just go down to some steel shop and have them cut you some channel iron, (its shaped like a U) and it usually is about 4" deep. we can also cut you a set too if you need it. i dont know how much it costs, but its not too expensive. also, do you have the max 10 or 12?

yeah, i would go with the dual sub enclosure. i just finished some other custom work with an amp in the box, and they tend to get hotter then being in free air. but a dual box will work, just let me know how deep the subs are, and what the required airspace is. and people just usually mount the amps under the driver side bench, or i can see about making you some kind of amp rack, i'll try to come up with some designs.

*just one quick thing, can people please let me know what year they are looking for what inquiring about the enclosures. that way i can get back to you faster about whether we have the model in stock to take a mold from. thanks,

hey. i will look at the specs and get something all figured out for you. and the thunderforms are crap, that is why i am offering this group buy, we will make you an enclosure that is space specific to the subs you have, plus we can change to whatever mounting depth you need. most of those thuderform boxes are only about 5-6" deep, so all you can install is low grade subs. most stereo shops are selling similiar enclosures like mine for around $500, i used to work for a few, so i am not here to rip anyone off.

ian, quads have less space than the clubs when it comes to speaker boxes, the only thunderform is one that fits behind the rear driver's seat, and it won't fold up after installation. There's very little room under the bench, not enough clearance. Not to sound like a downer, just FYI. But if you do figure something out . . .

hey, does the r/t have a rear bench, or is it just a cab, sorry i havent had the time to go out to the lot and see what it is, we have been very busy. if there is a rear bench, we can build you a box to put under the seats, or we can make you something totally custom that fits behind the driver or passenger side. let me know what you would like, or just send me a picture of the inside of your cab to: sales@fiberglassaudio.com and i can tell you what we can make for you. also, i have plenty of pics, some got lost when changing computers so i am trying to get buyers to send me copies, but just email me and i will send you pics.

SPITZ: hey, we can still make you something to fit under the rear bench if you are concerned about saving the space. what really helps with having enough mounting depth is when you take out the plastic tool tray under the bench. let me know if you are still interested. and i checked out the specs of those kickers. the 12's only need about 7" mounting depth, (probably a little more), and they only need .88 cubic feet sealed. so i think we can make something work for you.

sounds good, before you send the money though let me make sure i have the truck on the lot. just to be sure and for your security. also, does anyone know if the interior space is the same for different models. like the crew vs. quad. just wondering, i work with tons of cars all day and would like to start doing more trucks, but i dont know dodge's as well as civic's. and i have done a lot of work for ford, and they always change the body style of the interior mid-year, which is so damn frustrating. thanks

ok, here is what i have on the lot right now, so i will just list them by year, and what model they are. someone might need to help me clarify between models, like if there are differences in the cabs. thanks,

*1994 dakota SLT ext. cab
*1995 dakota regular cab
*1997 dakota SLT ext. cab 40/60 split bench
*1998 dakota sport w/ 40/60 split bench
*1998 dakota ext. cab w/ 40/60 split bench
*2000 dakota sport ext. cab
*2002 dakota sxt ext. cab

those are what i have, so just let me know what year you need, how many subs to add, how much depth you need, and what size they are. i will see if there is some way to make some seat extensions as well, so we can add some larger subs. also, we do sell the custom R/T boxes. we can make those to house as many subs as you want, and they look awesome behind the seats.

hey, when i listed the years of the trucks, it goes the same for trucks that are in that generation. so if 1994 is in generation 1, then these enclosures will fit all generation 1 trucks. hope i didnt confuse anyone.

the 1 gen is from 87-91 so you'll need to find one of those other thatn that you've got a 2nd gen 92-96 and also a 3rd gen 97-04 so you're good to take measurements for mine! the 97 you have is identical to mine so don't worry about fitment problems, if it fits in yours i'll get it to fit in mine. ahve you figured up if the 2 12" L7's will fit under the seat? i'll put pads on top of them so don't worry too much if it doesn't fit under the brackets
