Membership Instructions

Password

Your first step after your order has been confirmed is to choose a password. You can do this at http://www.dodgedakota.net/members/choosepassword.htm
After you do this, you may have to wait until you are updated in the system. NOTE: THIS MAY TAKE UP TO 24 HOURS

Once you recieve your 4 digit User ID number you are ready to continue. You will recieve this in an email with the subject line as "membership password" You will enter this User ID and password whenever you see a screen pop up that looks like this:

Upload Thumbnail

You may then upload a photo for your forum posts. This is a small 100 pixel wide picture in .gif format which will be displayed with each of your posts. You may return here to change this whenever you like. For the userid field put in your 4 digit User ID number described above. The password is the one you chose from above.Then click browse to locate the picture on your computer. If your picture is accepted, you will get an acceptance message after you click Upload.

Upload Profile

Next, you may upload a photo for your profile. This may be larger, approximately 400pixels wide and in .jpg format.For the userid field put in your 4 digit User ID number described above. The password is the one you chose from above. Then click browse to locate the picture on your computer. If your picture is accepted, you will get an acceptance message after you click Upload.

Register

You are now ready to register.When the window pops up asking for a username and password as shown in step 1, type in your 4 digit assigned username and the password you chose in step 1. This 4 digit number is also the User ID # on the registration form. After you register, the forum will send you a temporary password which you can change. See the Forum Help section for information on how to change this to something easier to remember.
