 Subject: 14" dia. air cleaner possible?

I'm having the motor rebuilt in my Dakota. I've been wondering about the type of air intake I want to use. I'd LOVE to run one of the older style 14" dia. air cleaners like this.

However, I'm not sure whats involved with mounting one up. I know there is a sensor that people have been moving around to "help" performance. Is there a way to mount a filter up like this? The truck won't be used offroad. Only towing. I don't have the truck right now as its in the shop. Here's where the motors at currently.
