2001 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4
287 motor w/flow master exhaust.. thats it..
i want more power out of my motor.. i am already going to purchase the superchips programmer.. what other mods can i do.. i dont want a cold air intake b/c i offroad every once in a while.. maybe a cam, ignition stuff? anythings helpful..

Unless your offroading completely buries the truck, the CAI is not going to give you issues. Its not like ones for cars that they put right on the gound.
If you are running the 3.55 gears, get 4.10's. They will help on the street and offroad.

Why would you NOT want a CAI? It's perfect for offroad and street. It's one of the first mods that you would want to do. Exhaust should be last. Anybody else want to back me up on this one?

I would agree, although I got my exhaust first. The cold air intake is fine for whatever conditions. I haven't had any troubles with mine. If you still are skepticle you could always get a filter wrap to help keep the crud out.

okay well the cold air intake and the programmer are small mods.. and i dont wnat to change the gears yet until i get my lift and tires... what other mods can i do besides the cold air,throttle body spacer,and programmer?

Dont get the tb spacer, wast of money. On tb it does nothing unless you put a carb on the truck.
