i took my truck to a transmission shop to get the trans serviced and they told me there is so much metal in the pan that you can grab handfulls of metal. (trusted shop) so now they are charging me 1290 bucks to get a new trans is this good to get and install

well when i got a new clutch and driveshaft put in my old bronco it cost me alittle over a grand and they also put in a slave cylinder. So i guess it is alright but you would have to see if it is a new or remanufactered tranny and what kind and how much it is brand new. That is just my opinion.

ok ok . 4 questions . 1290 ??????? you never said but i'm guessing this is installed???? Doesn't it strick you as way cheap if you only count a quality built trany not to mention labor.

So many problems .... So little time
