Message: 2001 dakota 5.9) On my way to work this morning, my engine light came on and it would not shift out of first. I checked the codes with the built in reader and it said 1757, 1762, 1596. I turned around and dropped it off at a local mechanic. I am waiting for a call with what they find. What should I expect? I heard there was a law suit pending about these transmissions, has anyone heard anything? Thanks
