Message: I am swapping in a 93 5.2L in my dakota and i was wondering if a 98 computer will work(since my truck is a 98) The 93 motor has EGR and the 98 motors dont. I was wondering if this would change anything. Like the fuel mixture will be weird or something. I know im going to have to have Mopar flash in my VIN but will this work?
If you are wondering why i am putting a 93 motor im my 98 its because i am getting rid of my V6.
