This happened to anyone else? My 05 Dakota Quad
has 31k miles on it. The other day, the chime went off, like when the low fuel light comes on.
I look down and my speedometer and tach, are reading 0. At 65 mph. Then the idiot lights start flashing, low battery, no seatbelt, low fuel etc.
It's at the dodge house as I write this. They seem to know all about it. Instument cluster issue the service writer said.
It's under warranty, but I was wondering if this happend to anyone else?

Ok got off phone with service writer, the Dak's computer ain't talkin!, No codes, they suggest the service tech take the truck home and see if the guages will act up on him.
The good news, while it was there they checked the truck over really well, since it's near the end of the factory warranty, and the rear end had a problem , pinions or something. Fixed under warranty.

Sounds like a dealer making a ton of money on a speed senser in the rear end. Naaaaa dealers don't do that........ DO THEY??????????

So many problems .... so little time

had that happen on my truck - it was a blown fuse under the hood in the underhood fuse box. Not little fuses - the big ones

Dodge "techs" don't usually perform easy visual checks, like fuses, until after they waste time with their fancy scan tool and it reports no codes.
Fuses are always first on my list when something suddenly quits working.

Ok day three at the dodge house and the instrument cluster has yet to show out for the service tech. To top things off, they needed another part for the differential .
Hope to get the truck back friday. I may check fuses and stuff myself.
