Hi I have a 1991 Dakota with a 5.2L LA motor, and I wanna put a pair of 5.2L magnum heads on it. I'm just wondering will everything fit? Do I have to change anything else? I don't want to but a pair of edelbrock heads so I was gonna go with some new magnum heads but I wanna make sure they will fit with no other adjustments. If you know please post a reply.

Yes but you have to use AMC pushrods to oil the valvetrain! It's a must!

Yup, and you may have to use a Magnum intake too; although I think you can oval out the holes on an LA intake to make it work.

The intake mod is more than just an oval job....not a lot more, do-able, but much easier to get the Magnum intake. The pushrods to use depends on the cam used. Are you using the stock pre-Magnum roller-style cam? If so, drop in the Magnum roller lifters and Magnum pushrods....done! Keep in mind that, since you're going to Magnum-style heads/valvetrain...and the oiling of the valvetrain via pushrods, and if using an electric fuel pump, you can also use the Magnum camshafts. Just remember to request cams for use with 1.6:1 rockers (stock Magnum ratio). It's only when swapping to a flat tappet cam that you need the AMC-style oil hole flat tappet lifters (Magnum roller lifters are all oilers) and special length aftermarket hollow pushrods (again, all Magnums are hollow).

You can get aftermarket intakes like Crosswinds that will fit both style heads fairly cheap. No mods required.
