Go to an AutoZone or any parts store that offers to check the codes. It's the logical place to start,

i did the turn key thing and no codes came up thats why i was thinking it was something that wouldnt trip a code like plugs or a cat??

Your choice for sure. It's my understanding a scanner tells a lot more. I know my AUTOEXRAY sure does. Mine had a mis one day. My AUTOEXRAY was right on. Said right on the screen..... #7 cylender misfire. How kool is that.

so if i replace the plugs i should go with autolite 3923 plugs right? all i have done is intake and exhaust but i plan on getting a superchip pretty soon
