 Subject: Dakota electrical shorting problem

Just recently i started having problems with my 2000 4.7l Dakota. ill be driving and when i step on the gas hard or hit a bump that shakes the truck my truck feels almost like its shorting out and it seems like it turns off for a brief second and comes back on again. any ideas on what this could be??

Hey , one thing you should check is your power wire into the engine fuse box, if it is comeing loose or it is corroded it would cause problems with the entire truck. also check the connections at the battery and the ground wires from battery to engine and engine to chassis
