9700 is private party value.
12220 is retail value.
is 9500 too much to ask??

this is according to kelly blue book i have in my hand and doesn't really include lots of options this truck has.

anyway, anyone else interested?

I would be suprised if you sell if for much more than loan value due to miles, which i would imagine to be about 8k. Anything over that and somebody's gonna have to caugh up some cash, and most people can't do that. Also, kelly blue book sucks, you should use nadaguides.com. My family has a used car business and i've never seen anybody who relies on kelly blue book because nada is so much better. GENERALLY speaking, the nada trade-in value will be pretty close to the loan value, but you can only look up the actual loan value in the car-dealer version of the books as far as i know.

Jason,

Post what you get for it. I'm going to put my Dak up for sale on 1 Apr. 2001 Dak, 4.7, 2WD, everything stock except for matching hardtop locking bed cover. 92k miles. (approx 95% hwy miles).

Items replaced: Ball joints (warranty item),O2 sensor, rotors/pads, front hub assemblies. Other than than no problems whatsoever. I'm going to ask $9,000 for mine. Don't want to get rid of it, but gas prices are killing me. For a V-8, the mileage isn't bad though (19mpg) combo hwy/city. I just need something that gets about 30 combined.

Not sure where you live, but I live in KY and trucks are used quite a bit here. They sell very well.

NADA on mine is showing $9250 trade in and $11,725 retail. I don't think $9k is asking too much for mine.

ob1 i hope you get your asking price. 4x4's tend to get about 2500 more where i'm at. alot of red necks like to go muddin. personally i want better gas mileage and faster take off than a 4x4 can give me. that's why i bought my 2wd. but to each his own.
i'm not married to that asking price. someone make me an offer and come to md to pick this truck up. it runs great, has a ton of torque cause of ho cams, long runner intakes the 2000-2002 have, and 3.92 gears. i also have a 03/04 manifold for sale with it or seperate if you want horsepower instead of torque.
