 Subject: What size TB for 4.7?

I am looking for a F&B TB for my 4.7. It is a 2000, so it probably has a 65mm TB.

Current mods are Borla headers, Gibson exhaust, Z-tube. HO cams on order, will order TB this week, and will have a Leach PCM flash after cams and TB are in.

So what size TB? I was thinking of the 70mm. The 72mm will probably be too big. Any input is appreciated.

IP Z-tube, JET Stage 1, Borla headers, Gibson Exhaust, PowerSlot Rotors, 17" Eagles w/ Falken tires, and more...

70mm is good for the mods you've listed (and pending). If you plan on running a SC, the 72mm would be the logical choice.

FYI

F&B 70 mm has an irratic idle problem associated with it.
