I believe that graphitedak has an '03 QC 4.7 4x4 and he has used a superchip. Ask him, he'll tell you how it does.

Bottom line: it's the best bang for the buck. For $289 shipped(ebay) this is a mod you can definitely feel. Your truck will rev faster, shift harder, and all limiters are removed.

only drawback is you have to run 91 octane to get all of these benefits.

I currently run a SC tuner on my 2000 4.7L ClubCab with 112k miles on it. I dropped my Dak off at SC when it had 107k miles on it and they used it as a test truck so they could turn out a program that would benefit higher mileage Daks also. When I received the finished tuner and installed it, I instantly noticed a bit more pep on the 87 octane program and a lot more pep on the performance program while running 93 octane.
The only real difference between your QC and my CC is the extra doors so you should see at least the same results as I did.

Yeah what Izzy said!

My truck is a 02 Dak CC 4.7 auto 2wd. The Superchips got rid of the 98mph speedlimiter, what a PITA that was! It added addional timing advance and I'm not sure what they did to the fuel curve but it is definatly worth the cost in my book. I also like the fact I can switch between 87 octane settings when going on a trip and performance setting when running around town. If I so desire I can return the PCM back to stock if I ever decide to sell the truck or whatever.

Hope this helps anyone that is considering it...

I wouldn't say it REMOVES the limiters. The rev limiter is at 6500 or so RPM's now. Maybe some of the OTHER guys don't peg theirs past the 6500 mark like I did on purpose :)

I've hit over 135MPH and didn't hit the limiter. (GPS says I was over 135, in case you ask).
That was a one time test, 135MPH not needed in my truck. The stock 120 limiter mine had was fine.

It is worth it. Barking the tires with an auto tranny is awesome as well :)

There is a LONG thread on this in the other section. And if you click on my signature and look on my site, you will find pix of my mods and some test video clips.
