Yes I did, and yes it will. You'll need to do one of three things balance wise: internally balance the motor and use a 5.2 flywheel, re-balance the 5.2 flywheel, or a get a 5.9 manual tranny flywheel out of a '93 to '02 5.9 gas/manual tranny/Ram 2500 or 3500.

If you do a lot of performance mods; I wouldn't do any super hard launches in it with slicks. But it should be fine otherwise.

The NV3500 is rated up to 350 lb-ft of torque.

Check www.allpar.com for more info. There was also an NV3500 Heavy Duty. I'm not sure what they came in though.

IIRC, the Magnum 5.9 puts out 330 lb-ft of torque and I'm guessing you won't leave it stock. lol

That sounds like an awesome combination in that lightweight truck of yours.
