Ok, here is a simple question... I want to put header-back dual exhaust on my '94 Dakota with the 5.2, I am not worried about catalytic converters. The questions is, where do I find such a thing? I have been everywhere on-line and in magazines and cant seem to find a custom-fit true dual system! Will I have to resort to a home-brew system, or have I overlooked a valuable resource? Any info would be great! Thanks!

'94 Dak, 5.2, Auto, 2WD, K&N, Mopar Perf. PCM, Accel super coil, Autolite Platinum 3924's, stock exhaust w/glasspack

If you buy the 2 mufflers off ebay (cheapest place aroudn), find a performance exhaust place and they should run it for about $150 labor.

If you're in the baltimore/d.c. area look for Tony's Custom Exhaust in Glen Burnie, I can give you directions if you need. They do EXCELLENT work.

Well, I went to the local exhaust shop and they will not do it because it will defeat the catalytic converter, so no hope there. I live in upstate NY and dont know of any performance exhaust shops around. Guess I will keep looking. Thanks for the info!

Well, problem possibly solved... I have a friend at work who said that if I get the headers he will help me build a custom dual exhaust for the truck, complete with the H-pipe, so I think I am gonna go that route. He built them for a couple of race cars and a Monte for his son and they came out good. Also save me having to buy converters (although that was a very good option). Thanks for the info!
