First thing to do is replace your gas cap. Even though it may feel like it tightens, it will still have a small leak around the seal. Aftermarker works best, someplace like CarQuest or Napa. Clear the codes by disconnecting the negative battery cable for about 10 mins. Put the cap on and reconnect.
There are plenty of threads on here concerning that code. I am at work right now and don't have my code sheet. Type the code number in google and it should direct you back to this site showing those threads. Most likely if not the gas cap, an O2 sensor, but the gas cap is the cheapest test first and has always been a problem.
