 Subject: 4.7 Fan Clutch seized 00 DAK 4.7L QC

Can any one tell me the tricks to removing the fan clutch on my 2000 Dak Quad Cab with 4.7 L engine
I do know it has left handed threads. I have held the fan blade by hand and turned the the nut on the back of the fan
the nut then Jambs up against the water pump pulley.
Other than lots of noise what is the bad side of this fan blade being seized up? will it damage the water pump?
Can the fan and clutch be removed with out removing the fan shroud?
Any help would be great full Just think Truck just turned over 52000 miles
