I have a 2001 Motorsports Edition Dak, Club Cab, 4.7 auto. I want to throw a cat back on, seems as MBRP seem to be good, split rear, heard alot of good things about them. Just reading up on some things, was wondering how well this would work with the stock cat, and all that. Plan on throwing on an intake at the same time as well.

I HIGHLY reccomend the MBRP stuff. I have the one with the Cuda style tips and rollpan. I noticed a nice little power increase on my 4.7. The sound is a perfect low rummble.

What have you seen for imporovements in torqe and HP, along with gas! I want a cat back, but I cant lost the low end torqe. I like to chirp the tires every now and again, but dont wanna lose the ability to do that with just a cat back and an intake, you know. I heard because of the way MBRP designs their systems, that you acctually gain in the low end, and high, but he was a sales guy, so its questionable, you know. I wanted to get a persons acctual opinion on the system. Thanks alot!

I have the single 3" on a 4.7L and I kinda felt like I lost a little low end, but gained a great deal in the mid. I can chirp my tyres going from first into second at 5K-5200RPM..and of course first gear can do it.
