My '99 durango wiring harness has a different plug than my '02 dakota's wiring harness. I figure it'll be easier to leave my tranny wires hooked up and use my existing wiring harness during my 3.9 - 5.9 swap.
Is there a diagram or instructions on how to add the 2 extra injector wires? From what I've found pin #17 is 7 injector and #18 is 8 injector. where do I splice them in at?

if you are using your stock 3.9 harness you cant just splice them in. You will have to go to the bungs that plug into the computer. Find the white bung, its the one in the middle. pull it off and there will be numbers where you plug it into the computer. find the numbers 17,and 18. Then you will just need feed wires into those empty holes and run the wires to your injectors. Tap into the negatives of the injectors and thats about it. email me if you need any other help

How do I know which ones are the negatives? This weekend I have everything done except pulling it off the mounts. Transmission bolts & all are out, I'll take the motor fully out friday night and start putting the new motor in friday/saturday.
I know how to feed them into the white computer plug, but how would I tap into the negatives of the injectors? Each injector has 2 wires coming from it. Would 1 go into the plug and the other be grounded out? So 2 wires into plug and 2 wires need to be into the negative of the other injectors?

Actually the 12v signal is from a common splice. The negative (ground) side of the inj goes to the pcm. Follow the green wire with an orange tracer from the existing inj back into the harness the common splice there is where the pos side of the inj splices into.
