hows it going. im new to this site and i am looking at purchasing a V6 1993 dakota 5 speed 2 wheel drive. the problem is, i dont much care for any truck without a v8, but then again i love standard. so my question is, would it be posible to swap in a 318 or a 360 while still keeping the 5 speed? also, will the wireing harness cause me alot of headakes? would it be better just to keep the wiring harness out of the doner truck? my lat one is would it be emisions legal? this will be my first truck so any help you can give me would be appreciated

Anything is possible with time and money. You will need to change everything from the PCM and harness to the oil pan. You'll need it all. Just a bit of trivia. The 1993 model year had better tuning in the PCM than any other V6 the dakotas had.
