Hate to repeat old posts, but are there any Dak owners in the Eastern CT area. Would like to find a good mechanic to help with some of my upgrades. ie weld in my exhaust, cams, etc. If you know of any please let me know. I'm in Sterling. Would also consider southern Mass, as well as RI.

Install them, not weld them. Or maybe I will weld them and turn the truck into a planter box.

Hey making your truck a planter box is not so unusual
some people think you are supposed to remove the tail gate handle and weld the tailgate shut
so its not unlikly that you wouldnt do it

An $18,000 planter box, I would be the envy of all of my neighbors.
Really, I would like to find a reliable and preferrably inexpensive mechanic in my area. I'm not overly mechanically inclined.

when im up at uconn during the school year i could help u work on ur truck. i was a mechanic for a little bit so im pretty mechanically inclined but im not an expert. if u ever need an extra hand though i can def help u out on a weekend.

Despite the fact that KRC is in Florida, I live up here in lovely CT myself. Got a great shop locally for any mechanical work, body work, also does nice exhaust work. He's in New London. I'd be happy to hook you up. Just shoot me an e-mail.
