I had one of those in a 66 Plymouth during high school in the mid 80's. Sold the whole car for $150 and saw it driving around town years later.

I don't know how much it's worth, but I beat the livin piss out of my car and the engine never blew up ;-)

I got a rusty FuryIII with a 383 for $700. The 383 will go into my 66 Charger until I can afford a better engine. The one I got has 62K and still purrs. I'm just trying to figure out which Transmission is better and I'm leaning towards the on in the fury.

The 383s were produced in much higher numbers than the other Chrysler big blocks and are not worth as much as the 440, but it is still a good engine. In think yours would make anywhere between 290hp and 330hp stock depending on the carbs used.
