 Subject: IAT relocate..400 miles later

I did the IAT relocation and now after 400 miles or more I have a check engine light. I went down to AutoZone and used the scanner. It read that there is some kind of malfunction in the IAT sensor. Is this normal for all that have done this change. I have a new IAT sensor in my stock 5.2 air hat assemble just before the throttle body. The old sensor is still screwed into the manifold.

Most likely there is a problem with the connector. The computer doesn't know where the sensor is located, it only receives the input provided by the sensor. If it doesn't receive any input from the sensor it assumes there is a problem with that sensor.
