Subject: Intermittent Stall = no fuel

I recently bought a 92 Dakota 5.2L AT 135k miles. Was running fine for first 2 months or so. Started having a rare stalling problem that over last 2 months has increased in frequency. The stalling is very random (idling, driving, slowing, accel, when hot, when cold, whatever). When the truck starts it seems to run fine but when it stalls out there is no fuel pressure at the test port. When its working normal I read 35 psi at test port. Sometimes the truck wont start at all for a full day then start and drive fine all day the next. Most times you can restart truck about 1-2 mins later but sometimes might be 10 mins or longer. My chiltons says that it should read 14.5 psi but the chiltons was wrong about the style of coil I have too. The 94 dak says its 35psi so I'm a little confused. After pricing the fuel pump I've decided I better test all the other components first as the pump is costly and a fairly big job. What other components will cause the auto shutdown relay to trip, what do they look like, where to find them and how to test them? Any other ideas or advice appreciated.

I've replaced the fuel filter and coil already.

Should the fuel pump relay look like the link below for a 92? I found a cube kinda like this in the in engine fuse box and the box lid says fuel pump relay for that spot. Mind is just a cube with 5 tabs sticking out no place to bolt it on.
