on a 2000 4.7, where in the hell is the thermostat for the coolant located? Is it in the hose at the bottem of the radiator, or is it behind the water pump?

I believe, you follow that hose, and it is right in the bottom, hooked in.
I may be mistaken. thinkin bout' putting a 180 on my Dak.
2001 Black Dak CC Sport 4x4 4.7L 5-speed Manual, 3.55 rear.
