Subject: V8 Performance Question

Message:
I'm in the process of building up a 1995 360 I pulled out of a Ram. I've been talking to a buddy of mine who has built many a engine! Unfortunatly he's a Chevy guy, and knows nothing about Dodge. My question is: He said the best place to start when looking for perfomance is heads and cam... Now I know that there is alot of power to be made with these, But what are the "best" ones to get? And where can I find them?
~Or better yet... What are you guys using? Thanks for the help guys. Drew "Quick"
P.S. sorry for the long post!!

It all really depends on what you application is. (Racing, Street/Strip, Daily Driver, Offroad, etc.)

Heads: Mopar Performance "R/T" heads (Either out of the box or massaged with bigger valves, port work, etc.) - Depends on application
Cam: Too many options to pick the "best" one.
Rocker Arms: Mopar/Crane, Crower - 1.6:1 or 1.7:1 Roller (Depends on application)
Intake Manifold - M1 2BBL MPI (or 4BBL version) - Depends on application
Rods, crank, etc....it all depends on application.

Then...there's the throttle body, headers, exhaust system, ignition, and all the rest of the trimmings.

What does "Depending on Application" mean exactly? ... I'm not good at this!, help me out! I know what I want, but I'm not sure how to build it. Thanks, Drew
