 Subject: MIL Light came on??

Just bought a dakota and my MIL light just came on 50K miles. I noticed that I have a sucking/ vacuum noise coming from the engine now. Is it posible that something disconnected to cause the MIL light to come on?? What do I check first? 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad... Help!

How about you calm down then open the hood and visually inspect the engine compartment for loose hoses/vacuum lines?

And if you can't find it that way, start the engine and see if then you can track down the vacuum leak.
Watch out for moving parts, though.
