i own a '95 dakota 4x4 extended cab with a 5 speed manual. the truck was painted a metallic green with silver rockers a few years back. the motor is the 3.9 magnum. the motor has 145k on it. it runs great, and it is still on it's first clutch. however, it doesn't have enough balls. i know that the 95's came with the 318. i was considering dropping one in my truck, but i want something that noone else around here has. the truck stands out in a crowd, but the motor is a dime a dozen in the dakota. so i'm thinking of dropping in a 360 magnum. it oughta bolt right up, considering it is the same block as the 318. my questions are: will i be able to run my stock wiring harness, and will my tranny bolt onto the 360? i would imagine it will. i am not sure about the wiring though. any other tips or ideas are appreciated

The 360 Magnum will slip right in place, and the tranny will bolt up, but it will not last long. Also, the flywheel would have to be changed for one for the 360 Magnum for balance issues, as well as having 8 "windows" for the crank sensor to see, as opposed to the 6 the 3.9 has.
The wiring harness will work, but it's short two injector wires. Get a 5.9 computer for the Ram full size (1993-1995), and run two injector wires, or snag any 1992-1995 V8 engine harness.
Adding a limited slip pack to that rear is a very good idea as well.
