Hey people, I just bought a 99' dakota r/t ext. cab and i noticed that it doesnt have the 17" r/t rims on it, it has stock dakota rims just not the 17"s....does this make it not an r/t? and can anyone tell me where i can get a set of these rims from for cheap? thanks.

I'm not trying to eat a dead horse here but you R/T guys think that your 5.9's are god. I love making money off guys like you on the street and the track. You should just give in and buy a 4.7 before your beloved R/Ts are the slowest thing on the road.

actually a stock 4.7 beats a stock rt. A MOPAR magazine ran quarter miles with them, both 2 wheel drive autos, rt had 3.91 locker, and 4.7 had 3.55 open diff. 4.7 beat it every time. Not by much, but it did. They also had an article that a stock 5.2 five speed, 3.91, reg cab, short box could run 14.2 quarters if run perfectly

hey 408r/t where are you at, i'll load my 4.7 on my trailer tomorrow and come to your home town to embarass you. This just proves my point about you r/t guys. I'm glad you can race people with a built 5.9 well when you feel like getting walked by a 4.7 with a slight belt squeal let me know.
