the fan clutch on my '00 4.7 has started squealing.......does anyone know how to hold the w/pump so I can remove the fan assembly?

Just put a big wrench on it and smack the wrench with a mallet. Should break it loose. That's how I got mine off without any special tools or having to hold the waterpump.

On another post, someone said to put a screwdriver through the fins or something like that and then turn the wrench.
