 Subject: Q about auto lite plug seals

I got some autolites plugs for my truck and the gasket isnt on the plug. do you put the widest part aganst the plug or the smaller side? never had plugs with the gasket off. I know its a dumb question but want to put them in right.

I put the wide side towards the plug. I don't think it really matters, but I like to be conssistant.
