 Subject: Help! 92 Blower Motor

Hey everyone, I have a 92 dodge LE and the Blower motor called it quits on me today. I checked the 30 amp fuse, it checked out fine. I smacked the blower housing with rubber mallet and thought it might have gotten stuck, ive done it before and it worked. Its not spinning at all. Is there anything else i can check for? any advise would be a great help.

hey dakfreak, the part you need is called the blower motor resistor $10- @any dodge or cryslerdealer, jeep used the same 1,before u buy a new 1 check the old 1 it's located on the pass. side fire wall,theres a 4 or 5 wire connecter that plugs into it. it's held to the wall buy 2 small screws,youll be able to see if its failed(corroded or broken links)i streched the coil on mine and reconnected it and that gave me the 2 higher fan speeds good luck post back when ya fix it
