hi all i have a 2002 dakota Quad Cab with the 4.7 V8 and the 45RFE trans. yesterday first thing in the morning when i put it into reverse it stalled on me. then after driving for 30 min. i went to back into my space at school and when i put it into reverse it stalled again. the only things that i have done to my truck is the JET stage 2 chip, flowmaster 40 series muffler, and a K+N air filter. do you think that any of these mods contributed to the staling or is my dak in need of help. it only has 25,000 miles on it but is out of warranty, thank you for your help

I have a 2001 4.7 V8 with the same problem. It only happens occasionally. Seems to happen more with cheap gas. Mine has done this since new. I took it to the dealer while under warranty and they told me it was my K&N filter. Only problem was, it did it before I put the K&N filter on. I now have 80,000 miles on it with no additional problems. I would love to know what causes this too.
