Message: I asked recently what could i do to gain in the horse power range. Well i got these answers back. I just bought my R/T so i dont know the lingo. Help me out please what are they?
M1 - $450 new
TB - $220-450 for a custom made one. Or get a junkyard TB and port it yourself.
Homemade CAI - $30-60
Relocate IAT sensor - free
Message: M1: Intake manifold from Dodge. it's a 2 barrle carb design, but also has the bosses for EFI conversion.
TB: Throttle body.
CAI: Cold Air Intake
IAT: Idle air temp sensor. Move it further out into the air flow, closer to the air filter. The computer reads a lower temp, and adds more fuel. Supposed to be worth a few ponies, but I expect it will cost you fuel.
