 Subject: fuel leak... help

I have a 92 dakota, reg cab short box. and i have a fuel leak coming from an area beside the tank on the drivers side of the truck.. my question is there a fuel regulator there or something? i can feel something there with my hand, but i cant see it.. anybody know whats there and if they had leaks around there before??

easiest way to sort this out, is to get the tank as low on gas as possible, and then drop the tank, unless its on a fuel rail. good luck
