i need to no if anybodys put headers in there 91 dakota with a v8 318 in it if u have please eight back and tell me how it went cause im struggling to find deasent headers for my truck and if its a hard prosedure

Chad I put them on my 93 318 but they were the shorties. Long tubes are better but are expensive. You can get long tube headers from Summit racing. The shorties did help when running full true duals but with the stock single exhaust I didn't see musch difference. The installation wasn't hard at all.
Just remember if you pull the center studs out of the heads you will loose your antifreeze because the studs go into the water jacket. I left the studs in and trimmed them down slightly so they would clear. It also made it easier to install the headers cause the studs held the header in place so I could start the other bolts.

I have Hooker Super Comps on my carbed 390 in a 91. They're long tubes, really nice. I also have a set on the now discontinued Mopar tubular exhaust headers for the 91 Dakota along with the Y pipe. They could use painted but other than that are in great condition. Looking to get rid of the shorties, If interested you can email me at Mikeqc12@insightbb.com
