 Subject: water pump pulley

I want to replace the stock cooling fan on my 98 5.2 with an electric but notice there are no bolts holding the water pump pulley to the water pump although there are four holes. Is the pulley pressed on or does it rely on the fan clutch nut ? Thanks in advance for any info.

it's pressed on. i've had mine off for over a year. no probs.
