My heater seems to never get warm... i have talked to a couple of friends of mine that have dodge as well and they too think that the heat in it sucks... just wondering if anyone else is having that problem.... and if so what to do to fix it....

hey Dan,

If you have a temperature gauge on your truck, it should be somewhere around 195ish when it's warmed up. If it's a lot lower than that, it means the thermostat is stuck open, not allowing the truck to come up to temperature. If you've just got a temperature light, that only comes on when the truck is overheating.

Thermostats are less than $20 to replace if you do it yourself. If the thermostat doesn't fix it, the heater core is probably gunked up and the coolant system would need to be flushed.
