How about the cheapies and freebies first? 180-tstat, IAT relocation (or IAT Adjuster), Autolite 3923 plugs, K&N drop-in (or cold air kit), Muffler or catback.

Some guys remove the clutch fan to free up some horses, also.

I just bought a set of regular Autolites and they are 5224's. Is 3932 the model # or what? The web site has all of the V8 engines listed as 5224's. Also new, what I plan to do, after I dyno stock of course, is throw in a 180 T-stat and remove the mechanical fan at the same time. So as not to throw off the temp the engine runs. I have the HD cooling system and she always runs cool, doubt the fan has ever come on. But the combo would in theory balance out any potential fuel rich condition that could occur. My $.02

Grady, the 5224's are the stock replacement plug, and the 3923's are one heat range colder. most people go with the 3923's, because it helps with detonation, and is said to give a little more power

Eric, 98 5.2 5speed, K&N gen II, 50mm TB, 2bbl M-1, 1.7RR's, JBA ciramic headers, carsound cat, dumped gibson, and a lot more
