Message:
hi.. i was wondering about building a motor or purchasing one for the max price of around
4000$CAN
My truck is a 92 with a 318, should i build that motor up from scratch or go with a 360 or maybe a 340, so i was wondering what are some good parts for the 318 (pistons rods, heads) i want around 10.1 compression 400hp range. so anybody with goood ideas please feel free to put ur two cents in, cause i dont know where to start.. but i do know that i dont want fuel injection(computers piss me off)

if i had my choice - the 340. high winding with a 4 or 5 speed manual would definitely be a blast to drive. of course i don't think the 340/manual would make a good daily driver if that's what you're after go with the 360. my .02 anyway.
